Welcome to Systems Edit Consulting ("Systems Edit," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our website, www.systemseditconsulting.com, or engaging our services, you agree to the terms below.
Services
Systems Edit Consulting provides residential space editing and systems setup services. Services may include consultations, editing belongings, creating functional zones, setting up ready to use products, product recommendations, sourcing support, move in setup, and light styling.
Systems Edit is not an interior design, cleaning, laundry, moving, construction, or general household labor service. We do not provide housekeeping, deep cleaning, dishwashing, routine folding and put away services, furniture assembly, custom cabinetry, electrical work, plumbing, construction, or contractor services.
The exact services, project scope, pricing, schedule, and client responsibilities will be confirmed before work begins.
Consultations & Bookings
Submitting an inquiry or scheduling a consultation does not create a client relationship or guarantee project availability.
A project is confirmed only after Systems Edit has approved the scope and the client has completed any required agreement, deposit, or payment.
Pricing & Payment
Service fees are based on the approved project scope. Products, materials, delivery charges, travel fees, and services provided by outside professionals are not included unless stated in writing.
Changes to the approved scope may require additional time and fees. Any material change will be discussed with the client before the additional work begins.
Payments are due according to the invoice or service agreement provided for the project.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and refund requirements will be stated in the client’s booking confirmation, invoice, or service agreement.
Clients should contact Systems Edit as soon as possible when an appointment must be changed. Repeated changes or missed appointments may result in cancellation of the project.
Client Participation and Decisions
Clients must be available when decisions are required about belongings that will be kept, donated, discarded, sold, or moved to another area.
Systems Edit will not knowingly discard, donate, sell, or permanently remove personal belongings without the client’s approval. Final decisions about personal property remain the client’s responsibility.
Project timing depends on the size of the space, volume of belongings, level of setup required, and the client’s decision-making pace. Completion within one session is not guaranteed.
Preparing the Space
The project area must be reasonably clean, sanitary, accessible, and safe before the session begins.
Clothing and linens must be washed and dried. Food waste, trash, dirty dishes, spills, pest activity, animal waste, mold, strong odors, hazardous materials, and items requiring cleaning must be addressed before service.
Pets must be secured when requested or when they could interfere with the work.
Systems Edit may decline, pause, or end a session if the space presents unsafe or unsanitary conditions or if the agreed preparation requirements have not been completed.
Products and Outside Services
Systems Edit may recommend products, furniture, storage solutions, installers, contractors, or other service providers. Final purchasing and hiring decisions remain with the client.
Systems Edit is not responsible for third party pricing, availability, shipping, delivery, installation, warranties, defects, delays, return policies, or workmanship.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients are responsible for purchasing recommended products and handling returns or exchanges.
Donations, Trash, and Removed Items
Donation delivery, trash removal, hauling, and disposal services are not included unless specifically stated in the project agreement.
Clients are responsible for arranging the removal of items that leave the space.
Photography and Project Content
Systems Edit will request permission before using photographs or videos of a client’s space for its portfolio, website, social media, or marketing.
Identifying personal information will not intentionally be shared without permission. Photography permission may be declined without affecting the client’s ability to receive services.
Results and Responsibility
Systems Edit will perform services with reasonable care and professionalism. Results will vary based on the space, available storage, volume of belongings, budget, client participation, and continued use of the system.
Systems Edit cannot guarantee that a space will remain edited or maintained after the project is completed.
Clients are responsible for identifying fragile, valuable, hazardous, private, or restricted items and any areas that should not be accessed or altered.
Nothing in these Terms limits any legal rights or protections that cannot legally be limited.
Website Information
Website content is provided for general information. Services, prices, availability, photographs, recommendations, and policies may change.
Submitting information through the website does not guarantee that Systems Edit will accept or complete a project.
Intellectual Property
The Systems Edit name, branding, website content, photographs, graphics, written materials, systems, and other original materials belong to Systems Edit Consulting unless otherwise stated.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.
Changes to These Terms
Systems Edit may update these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Updates will not replace the terms of an existing signed service agreement unless both parties agree to the change in writing.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
